Dear Friends,
As a third generation son of Hendry County, it has been my sincere desire for years to serve our great community. I am now hoping to serve you in the best way possible, as your Sheriff. I have been preparing myself in the various aspects of public service over the last 25 years. This community has given me the opportunity to serve as a city commissioner for three terms and a school board member for two terms, serving as chairman for one of those years. When I attended the police academy I was voted class president and commended by the academy for exhibiting strong leadership qualities. Serving this community as a volunteer firefighter over the last 14 years has enabled me to really help those in need. I believe my volunteer work throughout the community, my background and experience in the private sector of handling large budgets and supervising personnel has afforded me a very well rounded background to serve our community with pride and knowledge. My desire to serve as Sheriff began when I was in my early twenties while I served on the Hendry County Sheriff's auxillary. I realized that I needed to gain knowledge, wisdom, experience and maturity to serve you, the citizens of the community where I have made my home for the last four decades. I feel I have dedicated my adult life to helping and serving the citizens of Hendry County and I am hopeful to continue to serve at the next level...Hendry County Sheriff.
